May we have a moment of silence for our RioVision President, Mary Ellen Lamothe and her family.

RioVision was founded in 2012 as a grassroots not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization chartered with defining a viable plan for economic development in Rio Vista, California. The group is represented by a diverse set of constituents that includes residents and businesses residing in the Downtown District, Trilogy, Homecoming, Vineyard Bluffs and outlying areas.

RioVision is chartered with developing a long-range vision for Rio Vista with input from the entire community, key stakeholders and with the professional assistance from experts at AIA (American Institute of Architects) and R/UDAT (Regional Urban Design Assistance Team). Our goals are to set realistic milestones, maintain momentum, and achieve objectives through sustained community and civic involvement.

A really nice thank you was received by RioVision from the US Coast Guard. Since they weren’t able to attend the Volunteer Appreciation Event, RioVision sent them a $100 Pizza Factory gift card to show our appreciation. Cards were also sent to the RV Fire and Police Departments. Thanks to all of them for the help and support they provide, not just to RioVision, but to the community as well.

Here is a video of Solano County Board of Supervisors, Skip Thomson – Supervisor District 5 discussing Rio Vista and the tremendous group of volunteers that we have in our community.
